Bank Swallow Technical Advisory Committee (BANS-TAC)

The Bank Swallow Technical Advisory Committee (BANS-TAC) was formed from a diverse coalition of parties in response to the continued decline of Bank Swallow (Riparia riparia) populations on the Sacramento River. The development of the BANS-TAC is intended to be a proactive way of promoting and facilitating the conservation needs of Bank Swallows and their habitat as well as to develop a regional conservation plan that avoids case by case/project by project decision making and addresses problems with a watershed approach.
