"The SRCAF provides an excellent opportunity to be heard by most all of those who might be interested in any individual or groups' concerns. There is no other place where all the agencies, as well as formal and informal organizations, get together at the same time for open discussions. The meetings are open to anyone and proceedings are well reported. I feel fortunate to be a part of it."
Marc Faye, Landowner Representative, Yolo County

The Forum
A Voice For All Interests

We are a locally based, non-profit organization. The Forum was created to encourage open discussion between all affected groups, so that changes along the river do not adversely impact adjacent landowners. The Forum is not a government agency and can not regulate.

  • Coordinates landowner, public and local government considerations.
  • Preserves local agriculture, recreation, and the river ecosystem within the 100 year flood plain.
  • Researches, reviews, monitors and enhances projects along the Sacramento River.
  • Offers opportunities to participate in the review and planning of projects affecting the Sacramento River.
  • Provides information, education and GIS public access mapping.
  • The Sacramento River Conservation Area, located within the flood-prone land along the river and known as the inner river zone, is comprised of 77,000 acres.
