Five Levee Sites Added to DWR's Critical Erosion List for Emergency Repair; Construction on Some Sites Expected to Begin in June

Following Governor Schwarzenegger's plan to restore California's failing levees; the Department of Water Resources (DWR) has added five levee sites to its critical erosion list. This brings the total number of emergency repair sites to 29. Work on some sites is expected to begin in June and conclude with repairs to all 29 levees by the end of the year.
