This site is located at River Mile 228-L, approximately 16 miles south of Red Bluff.
Site Description
This 126 acre unit, located in Tehama County, is owned by USFWS. The property is approximately half abandoned English walnut and half existing riparian habitat.
Vegetation Wildlife
The riparian habitat consists mostly of cottonwood and mixed riparian forests, and riparian scrub. Special vegetation profiles include very large Valley oak and Western sycamore specimens. Special wildlife use includes a bank swallow colony.
