South of Lake Siskiyou. Southeast of the town of Mount Shasta.
Site provides swimming and fishing access to the Sacramento River. Good hiking and wildlife viewing opportunities.
Ney Springs Creek is a tributary of the Sacramento River.
Mixed conifers, hardwoods and riparian vegetation. Fish species include rainbow trout and brown Trout. The common mammals in the area are black bears, black-tailed deer, brown bat and mule deer.

Take Central Mt. Shasta exit. Turn left at stop sign on Lake Street, go over freeway. Turn left on Old Stage Road. Turn right on W.A. Barr Road, cross over Box Canyon Dam, then turn left on Castle Lake Road. Take the first available left turn on a dirt road and travel 1.25 miles, then turn left at the Ney Springs Access road.
Take Central Mt. Shasta exit. Turn right at stop sign on Lake Street. Turn left on Old Stage Road. Follow northbound directions.
