Location Description
Five miles south of Dunsmuir.
Site Description
Trail that can be accessed from the Castle Crags State Park Picnic Area. Many swimming and fishing holes can be found along the trail. There are also undeveloped camping sites by the river. The area snows during winter months but the river can still be accessed with caution.

Access Description
From Interstate 5 take the Castella/Castle Crag exit and turn left onto Frontage Road. Take a right onto Riverside Road and follow it unil the Castle Crags State Park Picnic Area. Walk the park trail upstream for about a mile. The main access site is near a small creek with a wooden bridge. There are many other access sites along the trail.
