Location Description
Hwy 160 to Sherman Island Rd. to Mayberry Slough near the confluence of the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers.

Vegetation Wildlife
Riparian marshland with willows and cottonwoods. Fish and reptile species consist of the Common carp, Crappie, Striped bass, Sturgeon, White catfish, gopher snakes and western pond turtles. There are hundreds of different bird species such as, the golden eagle, mallard duck, red-tailed hawk, bald eagle, Canadian goose, cinnamon teal, ring-necked pheasant, ruddy duck, wood duck and many more. The mammals in the area include American beaver American mink black-tailed, jackrabbit Common muskrat, Desert cottontail, Northern river otter, Raccoon, striped skunk,Virginia opossum.
